ATTENTION: If you're not able to import .3DS files, please download the latest .3DS import plugin here and that should fix your problem!

In order to provide you with the quickest bug fixes and latest feature enhancements, we've decided to make simple ZIP patches available on a daily basis. Just download the newest patch and unzip to your root Mad F/X installation directory and overwrite the older files.

Remember also to upgrade to the latest import/Export plugins here

.......IMPORTANT

    • Version 1.0.7.1 and higher now requires DirectX 9.0. You may download it here
    • A full Installation of Mad F/X 1.x (DEMO or RETAIL) is required to use these patches
    • By using these patches, Mad F/X might not completely remove all of the Mad F/X files in the installation directory. This can be done manually with no risk.
    • Trying to patch your DEMO version with a RETAIL patch will not work. You'll need to purchase and install the full version.
