Here are some features and technologies that we are currently looking at implementing into Mad F/X in upcoming versions. They are not ordered in any way.

-----Havok Game Dynamics SDK

One of the largest and most anticipated upgrades to Mad F/X will be the integration of a 3rd party physics engine from Havok. The Havok Game Dynamics engine basically performs complex collision between Rigid bodies, Soft bodies, Cloth entities, Water entities and Particles in real-time. Setting up a meshes origin and orientation and setting certain attributes like density, gravity, stiffness and adding forces, objects can interact physically with other objects as they would in the real world, thus simulating reality. In addition there are also contraint systems available to use with all entities. The outcome is breathtaking and the possibilities are endless! We feel the addition of this engine will put Mad F/X in a class of it’s own.

Here are a few images and descriptions of some of the technologies that will be added thanks to the real-time physics engine.
