Q1 - What hardware does Mad F/X 1.x support?

Our current versions of Mad F/X (1.070 and higher) use DX9 and currently only support the XGI's Volari series, ATI's Radeon 8000 and 9000 series and NVidia's GeForce 3/4/FX series (not MX). We are in the process of testing our DX9 version with Matrox's Parhelia series and 3DLab's Wildcat VP series cards.


Q2 - How much does Mad F/X 1.x cost?

Mad F/X 1.0 is currently priced at $69 USD. The regular price is $79 USD.


Q3 - Will version 1.x be free?

Yes, there will be free patches up until we release version 2.0. Patches can be found here


Q4 - I've noticed some features only available in version 1.1. When will this version be available? 

Version 1.1 is already in the works and should be available in Q2 / 2003.


Q5 - I've not been able to play any of the AVI animations on the website. What am I doing wrong? 

All of our animations are compressed using DivX 5.02 or greater. Download DivX here


Q6 - Why do I get an error message when installing Mad F/X? 

If you are trying to install Mad F/X on a Windows NT/2000 machine, you'll need to download and install the latest service pack from Microsoft to fix this problem. It can be found here
